BioTrain takes biomanufacturing training on the road in a GermFree mobile lab. I designed the decal package for the trailer so it reads as Purdue from a distance and holds up at full scale.

The ask

Brand a working lab on wheels

Purdue BioTrain needed its GermFree trailer branded within Purdue’s standards, and a sign shop needed files it could quote and produce without guesswork.

What I did

  • Placed the Purdue horizontal signature at 154 x 27.53 in. on the trailer side
  • Built the BioTrain molecule mark at 10.5 x 11.2 in. in PMS 3435 C
  • Mocked the graphics onto a photo of the actual trailer so the client could review placement before anything was printed
  • Produced a dimensioned placement comp listing every decal’s size, position and color

Files a sign shop can quote from

The placement comp gave every vendor the same sizes, positions and colors, so quotes from three sign shops could be compared line for line, and the client reviewed the layout on a photo of their own trailer before anything was printed.
