Purdue Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center
One research center, every surface
CMSC works with industry partners on composite design and manufacturing. I keep its visual material consistent wherever it shows up: in presentations, on the walls of the facility, at events and online.
The ask
Keep up with a center that never stops changing
People join and leave, conferences come around every year and the center needs to look like itself each time. CMSC needed one source for the pieces it uses again and again.
What I did
Rebuilt the faculty, staff and graduate student org charts as one InDesign file that exports for slides, facility displays and the CMSC website
Designed Interlaminar Phenomena in Advanced Composites, R. Byron Pipes’ presentation for the American Society for Composites
Designed banner stands for CMSC, the CDM Hub and a paired IACMI and CMSC display
Designed a responsive web layout for the center

Slides from the American Society for Composites presentation.
The result
Update once, use everywhere
A change to one person now flows from a single file to the presentation slide, the facility display and the website, and the center’s events, decks and displays share one look.
On the floor and online
Paired IACMI and CMSC banner stands.
Responsive web layout for CMSC.
