Logo Design
Identity systems for universities, nonprofits, and small businesses
Logo design is identity work, not decoration. A mark has to survive being stitched onto a polo, etched into a 12mm lapel pin, and blown up across a trade show banner, and it has to still read as the same thing in all three places.
Most of the marks in this gallery were built for organizations with something specific to protect: research centers inside a university system, nonprofits with volunteer boards, and owner-operated businesses in the Greater Lafayette area. Several had to sit inside an existing institutional brand without disappearing into it.
Every project starts with questions rather than sketches. I want to know who has to approve it, where it will appear at its smallest, and what the organization wants people to understand about it at a glance. You get the full file set at the end: vector masters, flattened raster versions at the sizes you actually use, and a short usage sheet that keeps the mark consistent no matter who is using it next.
