Video Post-Production
Editing, motion graphics, color, and sound designed together
Video post-production is where a shoot becomes something people will watch all the way through. Most of the work in this gallery is research explainers, promotional pieces, and event recaps, and what holds them together is that picture and sound are built at the same time rather than one being laid over the other at the end.
That shapes the whole edit. A cut can land on a beat, a room tone can carry a transition, and a line of narration can do work that would otherwise cost three seconds of screen time. I handle the edit, motion graphics and titling, color correction and grading, and sound: dialogue cleanup, levels, music selection, and the mix. On interview footage especially, good audio is what makes people stay, and it is worth as much attention as the image.
Deliverables are exported per destination rather than once: a high-bitrate master for archive, a compressed version for YouTube or Vimeo, and vertical or square cuts when the piece is headed for social. Captions come as sidecar SRT files so they can be corrected later without a re-export.
